Create a New Product / Vessel

A new product record can be created in one of three ways:

• during the create enquiry or create contract process
• whilst creating a new association
• directly:

This page details how to create a product directly

1. Switch to the Marketing plug-in;
2. Ensure the 'products' option on the search criteria is selected and click the new product button:

   

3. A product editor will open to allow you to add details:
   • only the product's name is required
   • the product record is not created until the editor is first saved

   Ship repair projects may involve work on a vessel - a specialisation of product. In this case Epic will offer the choice:
