Epic has been designed to fit into existing systems. Its unique combination of ubiquity, modularity and scalability means that it can de deployed into almost any environment:

1. Ubiquity : as explained in technical details, Epic can run on almost any PC system.
2. Modularity : Epic is built of separate functional 'plug-ins' that are (virtually) independent of each other. Consequently each PC installation of Epic can be dedicated to a single function, or to any combination of functions.
3. Scalability : Epic can run on a single laptop, or from a central server talking to dozens of client PC's.
