Create a New Company

Activity required : addressbook.rw
Plug-in required : Address Book

If you are not sure whether you want company record or one of it specialisations (such as customer or supplier), create the company record now because you can convert it later.

A new company record can be created in one of two ways:

• whilst creating a new association
• directly:

1. Switch to the Address Book plug-in;
2. Ensure the 'companies' option on the search criteria is selected and click the new company button:

   

3. A company editor will open to allow you to add details:
   • only the company's name is required
   • the company record is not created until the editor is first saved
