Create a New Contact

Activity required : addressbook.rw or shiprepair.marketing.rw
Plug-in required : Address Book or Marketing

A new contact record can be created in one of three ways:

• whilst creating a new association
• via the address book plug-in
• via the marketing plug-in

Address Book Plug-in:

1. Switch to the Address Book plug-in;
2. Ensure the 'contacts' option on the search criteria is selected and click the new contact button:

   

3. A contact editor will open to allow you to add details:
   • only the contact's surname is required
   • the contact record is not created until the editor is first saved

Marketing Plug-in:

1. Switch to the Marketing plug-in;
2. Ensure the 'contacts' option on the search criteria is selected and click the new contact button:
