This 'reporting' deployment would be suitable where the yard has existing systems that it does not want to change but wants the productivity of Epic's intuitive and focused interface. For example production managers could use Epic to extract production information from data supplied by an accounting system.

Epic facilitates this through it built-in import/export functions for production data.
